I like to write, ask questions, and tell stories.
I am a bilingual writer and storyteller with a drive to tell clear, creative stories. I write fiction and poetry that often explore themes of the body, femininity, and corporeality.
Based in Philadelphia, I work as an administrative coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, and as a private French tutor. I was previously a bicycle mechanic, bartender, the host and producer of the storytelling podcast Rearview, and a production assistant at Baobab Tree Studios in the exceptional city of New Haven, Connecticut. A word nerd and language lover, I've completed intensive training in empathetic, non-directive, active listening techniques and am fluent in French. I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2019, where I studied French, art history, and creative writing. I earned my master's degree from the Middlebury School of French, and wrote my thesis on the role of the female body in the work of French contemporary author Annie Ernaux (who won the 2022 Nobel Prize for literature!). I get excited about French literature, feminist podcasts, fresh-ground peanut butter, and triathlons. |
